Impact-Resistant Entrances

Vitro America offers two M-Pact Safe® entrance door and frame packages for high velocity hurricane zones: Series 256 Narrow Stile and Series 356 Medium Stile. Vitro America is one of the first manufacturers to offer an approved narrow stile impact resistant entrance door. These doors are engineered with the innovative dovetail corner block design that needs no welding. These doors accommodate 9/16” monolithic laminated glass and can be wet or dry glazed. Vitro America has the unique ability to produce and furnish the complete impact resistant entrance package and glazing, which is an added convenience for the building team. M-Pact Safe® glass is available from our factory and it has been tested as a complete system with the Series 256 and Series 356 entrances.

The Series 256 M-Pact Safe® entrance door has a slim appearance and is recommended for high velocity hurricane zones. The Series 256 accommodates 9/16” laminated glass and can be wet or dry glazed. It has been tested for large missile and cycle pressures. Finish options include Clear and Bronze anodized and painted.
