M-Pact Safe® Storefront Systems
Vitro America offers two M-Pact Safe® storefront framing systems to maximize protection in high velocity hurricane zones: Series CG500S²™ for 9/16” laminated monolithic glass and Series CG501S²™ for 1-5/16” insulated laminated glass. These systems have been large missile and pressure cycle tested to Dade County protocol and has Florida Building code approval. These systems are 2-1/2” x 5” and can be wet or dry glazed. The design of these systems has become the standard for storefront systems in high velocity hurricane zones. Vitro America has the unique ability to produce and furnish the complete impact resistant system and glazing, which is an added convenience for the building team. M-Pact Safe® glass is available from our factory and has been tested in the CG500S²™ and CG501S²™ framing as a complete system.
